Mount Kenya University: Discussions

21st Century Developers Franco Wantsala (former partner) (2nd from right), Charles Alexander (2nd from left) and Emmanuel Nzai, of WEHU Consortium (on far left) representatives were graciously offered to meet with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stanely W. Waudo ( third from the left) and Prof. Peter Wanderi (on far right), Director, Quality Assurnace, Linages and Partnerships at Mt. Kenya University main campus at Thika, Kenya. The meeting covered various topics, but primary to all were how can 21st Century and its local partners  work to assist Mt. Kenya University in its facilities growth needs currently and into the foreseeable future. Master Planning for an new main campus generated some very interesting scenarios, which will be followed up on, as the collective moves forward. 

 

 

Immediate needed facilities, such as Youth Hostels was a main topic, as this project type is a priority goal; 21st Century Developers in partnership with WEHU will further research and develop an delivery entity by which we can better assist Mt. Kenya University in achieving its goal. Providing programming advice and posssible assistance was also a main topic. In general, the initial meeting was quite positive and open up various possible directions for longer term partnerships among noted entities.
