Meeting at Prime Minister's office with select Cabinet Ministers

As promised during the first meeting held in Washington, DC, back in June, The Prime Minister, Hon. Ruhakana Rugunda convened a joint meeting on July 3, 2015, with representatives of 21st Century Developers and selected cabinet ministers. The purpose of the meeting was to make certain that any possible obstacles be eliminated that would prevent positive actions and steps towards accomplishment of MOUs, forms of agreements, and any other viable document required which would assist, jointly, in moving investments in the housing, industry, job creation, infusion of capital into the economy by 21st CD in partnership with the government.

 

Promising an open communication forum, Hon. Rugunda, noted that frequent reports on how progress is beng made, be sent directly to his office so that he can monitor the process. To this end, his Personal Assistant, would be the key contact for any request or informational exchange. It was also noted that a letter of support, relative to these actions would be forthcoming from the Prime Minister's office.

 

During that meeting, firm dates and times were set, for the following week, to have more detail discussions with: Hon. Commissioner Agnes Kalibbala (third from right); and Hon. Peter Lokeris, Deputy Minister of Energy, Gas and Minerals (2nd from left) office staff. Other interested parties at the meeting were: Mr. Caleb Kakuyo, housing consultant (far left), Mr. Nicholas Mukasa (middle), Mr. Franco Wantsala , former partner (2nd from right) and Charles Alexander, current partner of 21st Century Developers.
